⭐ New Features
Schedule
- Schedule Viewer enhancements (Automated Schedule emails)
- Automated schedule email: Schedule Viewers can receive a recurring email (weekly or on a recurring cadence set by your organization) with quick links to view the schedule and a short summary of who is scheduled during that time window
- Date-range links: Schedule Viewer links can be shared with a specific, configurable start and end date so the viewer sees a clear window (for example, “next 2 weeks” or “June 1–June 30”)
- Printable view: Schedule Viewers have an easier, printer-friendly way to export or print the schedule when a paper copy is needed
- FERPA note: This is designed as a safer alternative to emailing schedules as attachments, preserving a FERPA-conscious workflow by keeping student-identifiable schedule details within EMCE’s controlled viewing experience
- The Schedule Filter summary can now be collapsed, for cases where a large number of Schedule Locations are selected
- Signup window types can now be mixed
- Signup windows can open with a fixed date and closed with a date relative to the event occurrence, or vice versa
Evaluations
- Live Activities (Eval Editor)
- When you’re editing an evaluation, EMCE can now show a live “in progress” indicator on your device (for example on your lock screen), so you can quickly see what you’re working on without reopening the app
- This helps you get back to the right place faster if you step away mid-eval
- Show companion form comments on PDF export
Sim Sessions
- New Sim Session completion permissions
- Any Faculty member can complete a Sim Session and/or change the session Facilitator
Reports
- Attendance Report improvements
- Fixed a rare issue where an attendance row could be missing from the report
- Improved “single student” reports so selecting one student reliably stays scoped to that student (instead of briefly showing everyone)
- Updated the Start/End column formatting to be easier to scan (date on one line, times on the next)
- You can now resize report columns and have those widths remembered the next time you open the report
- Reordered columns to surface the most useful fields earlier (with less-used fields moved to the right)
General
- Deactivated/locked profiles are automatically signed out
- Inactive profile sign-in improvements
- If all of your profiles are inactive, you’ll now land on the profile chooser (instead of getting stuck on a separate “waiting for activation” screen)
- The message is clearer about what to do next: contact your organization’s admin to activate/reactivate your profile
- Added an Add Profile action on the chooser so it’s easier to request/create the right profile when needed
